Meet the People Behind Twin Heron

We’re not an agency. We’re a team that cares about your business like it’s our own.

Why We Started Twin Heron

Illustration of two herons. The heron on the left sits cross-legged, meditating with tarot cards and a cup of tea, against a peaceful warm background. The heron on the right is standing and staring at a laptop displaying a quarterly growth plan chart, on a contrasting dark background.

We didn’t plan to start an ad business—we built it because people kept asking for help.

Friends. Clients. Fellow entrepreneurs. All of them overwhelmed by ad platforms they didn’t understand and frustrated by “experts” who made things more confusing.

We realized what they really needed wasn’t just someone to run ads.
They needed someone who would pay attention, ask the right questions, and make the complicated feel clear again.

So we took what we’re good at—creative problem-solving, strategic thinking, and no-BS communication—and built a business around it.

That’s how Twin Heron was born: not from a formula, but from a gap we knew we could fill—with integrity, clarity, and care.

A Strategic Duo with Uncommon Experience

Matt and Sarah Swieton, co-founders of Twin Heron, creative business strategists supporting purpose-driven entrepreneurs.

Matt Swieton
Matt blends analytical precision with creative strategy. With a background in archaeology, product development, and mathematical modeling, he brings a rare ability to decode patterns, optimize performance, and make ad platforms work smarter. He’s equal parts philosopher and tactician—obsessed with turning data into decisions that convert.

Sarah Swieton
Sarah is the intuitive engine behind every campaign. With years of experience in business management, operations, and client relationships, she knows how to spot the hidden gaps and guide clients toward clear, confident action. She brings empathy, insight, and a strategic edge to every ad we run—because smart marketing starts with understanding people.

Together, We’re Twin Heron

We’re a small but mighty team—with two different brains, one shared mission: run ads that actually work, without the agency nonsense.

One of us leads with intuition, big-picture thinking, and creative angles.
The other digs into data, systems, and smart strategy.
Together, we bring both perspectives to every campaign—so you’re never stuck with one-size-fits-all thinking.

We started Twin Heron because we were tired of watching small businesses waste money on confusing, bloated ad services. So we built something better:
Honest support, real results, and campaigns shaped by actual humans who care.

Meet the Real Bosses
Lacey Lou & Julie Bear

A tabby cat with green eyes lying on a bed with a white blanket and leafy patterned sheets.

Every good agency needs a little supervision and ours just happens to come with whiskers.

Lacey Lou (age 11) is a nurturing soul who once found an abandoned litter and nursed them like they were her own. She now keeps a close eye on our daily operations from the comfort of a sunbeam.

Julie Bear (age 7) was rescued by Matt while he was studying in New Zealand and brings a healthy dose of curiosity and chaos to the office. She’s not afraid to share her opinions — especially if you’re late with breakfast.

Together, they remind us to rest often, stretch regularly, and never underestimate the power of a well-timed nap.

🍕 A Love Story (With Extra Cheese)

Book cover titled 'The Pizza Book You Can't Bring Home to Mama' by Matt Swieton, featuring a design of a pizza slice with a fork and knife crossed beneath it on a black background with green text.

Before Twin Heron, there was pizza.

One of the first projects we ever worked on together was Matt’s pizza book—a labor of love packed with homemade recipes, personal stories, and a whole lot of mozzarella.

Sarah helped edit every chapter. Matt perfected every dough. We stayed up late, tested crusts, argued about toppings (respectfully), and laughed until the oven timer went off.

Somewhere between flour-covered counters and endless drafts, we fell in love.

That book still lives on Amazon—but more importantly, it’s a piece of our story. A reminder that good things take time, creativity, and the right partner beside you.
